Elder Frank Goring loves God's word and he has a genuine concern for God’s people. His dedication and commitment to the study of God's word led to his elevation. In January 2005 Minister Goring was ordained as an Elder in the Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God In Christ under Prelate Bishop Roy Dixon.

Over the years Elder Goring has continued to demonstrate his love for Christ and servant leadership by engaging others and meeting the needs of the people. As a Chaplain for the Red Cross in 2005 and 2008, he was recognized as an Outstanding Volunteer. He also received an NAACP award for preparing a Thanksgiving meal for the homeless. In addition, in 2005 he was recognized by SDOP (San Diego Organizing Project) after completing training in Principles and Techniques of Community Organizing from Pico's National Leadership Training Center

Elder Goring is a 1999 Graduate of Biblical Studies from the Institute of Biblical Studies. In 2001, he completed a Certificate program in Caring For People God’s Way from the Center for Biblical Counseling. Most recently, 2016, he received a certificate for Introduction to Restorative Practices and Using Circles Effectively from Centered Life Ministries, Inc.

Currently Elder Goring serves as the Bishop’s Chief Adjutant for the Jurisdiction. He is also the Administrative Pastor, Senior Pulpit Chair, Department Head of Missions, at Greater Woodlawn Park C.O.G.I.C. The church is located in Chula Vista, CA where Bishop Roy Dixon D.D., is Senior Pastor.
